The first four days of the exhibition’s run, including a drinks party on November 30, takes place in the barn before moving to the dealership’s Petworth gallery. It reopens in time for the town’s yearly Christmas lights ceremony on December 7.

The Hon Aylmer Tryon founded the gallery in 1959. It continues to offer sporting and wildlife art as well as the later addition of maritime art.

Held in conjunction with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, Africa includes works such as Dylan Lewis’ sculpture Elevated Leopard II. It runs until December 14.
