The 10in (25cm) late Dynastic Period piece, painted in ochre over gesso, retains most of the painting on the face, including the white and black detailing around the large eyes and some portions of a broad black wig.

It carries an estimate of £400-600 at Lawrences of Crewkerne, Somerset, on October 16.
