A ‘Pogue’ Seiko offered with an estimate of £200-300 at Roseberys.
Alongside the official NASA issue Omega Speedster on his right wrist, Col William Pogue chose to wear a yellow-dial 6139 on the left arm during a Skylab 4 mission in 1973. Several variations on the ‘Pogue’ theme exist (an example with a black dial with silvered outer ring, sold at HK$4000/£400 as part of the Making Waves sale).
This one with an orange dial carries an estimate of £200-300 at Roseberys London on September 22.
