Crosthwaite is also the owner of an interiors business in Norfolk and is pictured here with two 17th century oak wainscot chairs he found in a storage barn with newspapers dated 1803 still on top of them. He will take them to the fair priced at £4850.

Organiser Philip Crosthwaite said: “We have simply outgrown the sports hall venue in Hingham and with 140 dealers on our list we are moving to Easton College in Norwich where we have a larger sports hall, foyer and refectory at our disposal.”

The first Easton Antiques Fair at the new venue is on Sunday September 26.
