Specialising in decorative furniture, mirrors and garden ornaments, the business has a shop on Lillie Road in Fulham, a space at Lorfords in Tetbury and stands at The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair in Battersea three times a year.
1 How do you define the field you trade in/your area of expertise?
Our focus is to try to harmoniously mix eras and styles from the 17th century through to the 1970s. We embrace creativity and originality without blindly following trends.
2 What is one great discovery you have made?
A rare signed and dated lithograph by Kandinsky in a small village market.
3 Something you secretly hope you’ll never sell?
A life-size 1970s automated tiger from a French fairground currently residing in our front hall.
4 Who is someone you admire (in or out of the trade)?
Edward James (1907-84) – the visionary creator of the Los Pozas sculpture garden. A fantastically surreal folly in the Mexican jungle.
5 Real ale or espresso martini?
Espresso martini all the way!
