Moroccan Door, pictured above, is one of the latter, a work inspired by a visit to Morocco in 1988.
The 1991 colour lithograph featured in a sale of 19th and 20th century and contemporary drawings, paintings and sculpture held at Drouot on October 23 by Blanchet & Associés (28% buyer’s premium inc VAT).
The 2ft 5in x 3ft 7in (74cm x 1.1m) work, signed, numbered 44/55 and dated ’91, sold on the low estimate at €5000 (£4350).
