The auction will include 10 pieces by the French ceramicist Roger Capron (1922-2006) who was based in Vallauris in the south of France. Most of the pieces on offer are ceramic vessels but there is also an example of one of his tile-topped tables.
The 12in (30cm) high coffee table, a model titled Navettes of c.1960, is in black lacquered metal with a 16in (40.5cm) square top inset with glazed earthernware tiles, one of which is signed.
