Markies joins other newbies such as Gabriella Knight, bringing vintage furniture and gardenalia, Dales Antiques offering early oak and country furniture, and Anthony Hepworth with Modern British and Post-war painting and sculpture, at the fair which runs from April 12-14 at Westonbirt School, near Tetbury in Gloucestershire.

Organiser Sue Ede of Cooper Events says: “It’s a pleasure to welcome several new faces which will further broaden the range of exhibits, particularly into the Art Nouveau and Art Deco market and high-quality contemporary pieces.”

A total of 47 dealers stand at the fully-booked event. Other participants include Dansk Silver, Frodsham Clocks, Goodwin Adams and – returning after an absence of more than five years – Mike Melody Antiques.

Launched in the late 1980s, the fair showcases antiques, Mid-century pieces, fine art, sculpture, furniture and Contemporary works.
