Georgian silver and furniture along with Chinese export porcelain will be among the categories on offer in Bonhams’ sale of the estate of Roy T Eddleman, the founder and CEO of Spectrum Labs in Los Angeles on June 14.

Proceeds of the sale, which comprise the contents from his two homes in Los Angeles, will benefit the Eddleman Quantum Institute, a charitable organisation dedicated to advancing science and technology.

Pictured here is one of the silver lots, a pair of 13in (33cm) high George IV silver wine coolers by John Edward Terrey, London, 1827, estimated at $50,000-70,000.
