Petworth Antiques Dealers

The historic market town of Petworth in West Sussex is sometimes referred to as the “Antiques Centre of the South” due to its high concentration of art and antiques dealers as well as furniture and interior design shops.

The Petworth Antique & Decorative Arts Association was founded in the early 1980s to promote the town and its antiques trade. An annual fair is also held nearby on the grounds of the stately manor house Petworth House. The house itself was designed by Capability Brown and has a fine collection of paintings and object, making it well worth a visit.
